The Mid-Atlantic Industrial Rail Park is a 1,025 acre industrial site adjacent to CSX Rail in Unincorporated Brunswick County outside of Leland, North Carolina
- Site is zoned I-G (Industrial General). The I-G District is intended to provide locations for enterprises engaged in a broad range of manufacturing, processing, creating, repairing, renovating, painting, cleaning, or assembly of goods, merchandise or equipment.
- Phase I Environmental Site Assessment has been performed on the property. A wetlands delineation report will be completed by the end of January 2013 in cooperation with the US Army Corps of Engineers. Subsurface exploration and geotechnical engineering analysis were performed in July 2012.
- The Mid-Atlantic Industrial Rail Park sits across Highway 74/76 from the International Logistics Park of North Carolina, a 1,029 acre industrial site that received designation as a North Carolina Certified Site, which together were designated as one of the Ten Megasites in the South for the Next 'Big Kahuna' by Southern Business Development Magazine.
